Task types — Quick Kill, The Beast, The Grind

Not every dodged task is the same size. A four-minute email and a forty-hour thesis need different pressure, so Chillcore gives them different mechanics.

Quick Kill — under 15 minutes

The task is the step, so there are no micro-steps to hide behind. Quick Kills escalate fastest, and they use weaponized math: "Avoided 6 days = 8,640 minutes. Task length: 4 minutes." Close it with a screenshot or a simple confirm.

The Beast — one big, scary thing

Beasts get micro-steps mode, a progress percentage and focused "Boss Battle" sessions. Escalation is slower but the consequences are heavier. With a real deadline attached, Chillcore asks you to structure the plan — it can suggest steps, but the schedule is yours, and it will hold you to it: "This was your schedule, not mine."

The Grind — recurring work

Grinds run on streaks with both a shame counter and a pride counter, daily proof, and random mid-day checks. A skipped day leaves a visible scar on the streak calendar and earns a next-day callout. Finishing a full Grind earns the biggest praise and the longest Earned Silence.

You describe it, Chillcore classifies it

Type the task in plain words. Chillcore suggests the type, difficulty and time; you confirm or change it with one tap. Max around five active tasks — scarcity is the point.
